First Violins
Born in Taubaté, SP, Rodrigo de Oliveira studied with Elisa Fukuda and Claudio Micheletti and joined the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra in 2010, with 19 years old. To perfect his technique, Rodrigo has taken part in masterclasses with Augustin Hadelich, Rachel Barton Pine, Vadim Gluzman, Igor Sarudiansky, Charles Stegeman, Clara Takarabe, Pablo de León, Roberto Díaz and Misha Keylin. He studied at the Music School Maestro Fêgo Camargo, where he graduated from as violin Technician, in Professor Jefferson Denis’ class.
Oliveira performed as soloist and spalla with Camerata Zajdenbaum, Taubaté Symphonic Youth Orchestra, Atibaia Symphonic Orchestra, São José dos Campos Symphonic Orchestra and Ouro Preto Orchestra.
He is one of the young musicians portrayed in the documentary Prova de Artista (2011), directed by José Joffily. The violinista won the Minas Gerais Symphonic Orchestra’s V Young Soloists Contest in 2016 and Goiânia Symphonic Orchestra’s I Young Soloist National Contest (2017).
