Clarinets   |   Assistant Principal
Jonatas Bueno began his studies with Professor Rafael Gallardo at São Paulo Municipal School of Music (EMESP) while he was also a student of Edmilson Nery, Luis Alfonso Montanha and Gustavo Barbosa Lima. He has graduated in Clarinet from State University of São Paulo (Unesp), under Professor Sergio Burgani. The clarinetist has also participated in masterclasses with Wenzel Fuchs, Christoph Muller, Michael Gurfinkel, Ovanir Buosi and Cristiano Alves.
The musician won the 2010 and 2011 editions of Young Soloists contest at Orquestra Sinfônica Jovem de Guarulhos and the 2009 edition of Young Soloits of Banda Sinfônica Jovem do Estado de São Paulo. In 2012, he got first place in TV Cultura’s contest Pré-Estreia, Chamber Music category, performing with Nó na Madeira Quartet. With the same group, he’s performed as a soloist in concert with Orquestra Jovem Tom Jobim, presenting works by Léa Freire with Luca Raele’s arrangement.
Jonatas has also been a member of Banda Sinfônica Jovem do Estado de São Paulo, Orquestra Sinfônica Jovem de Guarulhos, Orquestra Jovem Tom Jobim and Orquestra de Câmara da USP.
