French Horns
Fabio Ogata began his musical studies in the interior of São Paulo, first in Espírito Santo do Pinhal, his hometown, and then at Tatuí Music Conservatory, under Alex Soares and Adalto Soares.
In the city of São Paulo, he studied with Professor Mario Rocha at Baccarelli Institute, where he was a member of Heliópolis Symphony Orchestra. Later, he joined Orquestra Experimental de Repertório, appearing frequently at the Municipal Theater. He graduated from the Music Academy of São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (Osesp), where he studied Horn with Ozeas Arantes and Chamber Music with Gilberto Siqueira.
Fabio has participated in several festivals, such as Santa Catarina, Campos do Jordão, Wattwill in Switzerland, and the Poços de Caldas Festival – where he also appeared as a soloist. He has also taken part in masterclasses with Bostjan Lipovsek, Stefan Dohr, Charles Kavalovski, Radek Baborak, Will Sanders and Luis Garcia. Fabio has performed with many popular artists such as Milton Nascimento and Mônica Salmaso, as well as with important Brazilian groups like Camerata Antiqua, from Curitiba, the Symphony Orchestra of USP (Universidade de São Paulo) and Osesp.
