Second Violins
Mineiro from Belo Horizonte, Rodolfo began his violin studies at the age of six with Luciene Villani. He has also been a student of Edson Queiroz de Andrade and Paulo Bosísio, under whom he completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Rio de Janeiro, Unirio.
Rodolfo has been a member of Youth Orchestra of the Americas, conducted by Kent Nagano and of Youth Orchestra of the Mercosul and Tristão de Ataíde Quartet, alongside Ricardo Amado, Hugo Pilger and Dhyan Toffolo.
He has also been a member of the First Violins of the Symphonic Orchestra of the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro, of Petrobras Symphony and of Brazilian Symphony Orchestra (OSB). Currently, he works with Ouro Preto Orchestra, of which he is a founder and member of the Artistic Direction.
Rodolfo has already been a soloist with Sesiminas Youth Orchestra, Musicoop Orchestra, Ouro Preto Orchestra and Camerata Giengen in Germany; having collaborated with household names on the Brazilian music scene, such as Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento, Ney Matogrosso, Gilberto Gil, Roberto Carlos and Sivuca.
